Poor Little Pearl
Last week, Friday to be exact..I ordered a new Ellowyne doll. She is a new addition to thier catalog. I had already decided that I had already bought enough Ello’s. You see I am not really a “doll collector”, I just like to sew for them. So they are models! You might say that I run a fashion house for dolls or mabe even a modeling agency. So what I have actually done is hired a new model! Thats my excuse anyway!
So this is my new girl: She is “Feeling Drained Too” a new Ellowyne Wilde by Wilde Imagination.
These photos are straight out of the Wilde Imagination catalog. She is so cute…how could anyone resist..right??? Ok..so she arrived Tuesday afternoon. She was taken out of the box and admired for a short while and has been standing on my work table for two days. The poor little thing has barely gotten any attention! I have named her Pearl. With that fair skin and platinum hair she just seems like a pearl to me. Even with the black wig…there are black pearls too! So WHY has she been neglected??? I will show you!
We seem to have a “DIVA” in the house that is getting all the attention these last couple of days! Apparently she has modeled this new coat and gown which has gotten a lot of compliments and now she thinks she is top model around here!

Oh my darling…you have so much to learn! It’s not easy to be this fabulous!!
Now be a dear and bring me a martini!
What a DIVA! I will never let success go to my head like that!

Pearl herself does look really lovely though and the salmon pink of her chemise does match the colour of her lips so well. Love that she looks lighter than Feeling Drained 1 (my Ffion) and has blue eyes instead of the moss green FD1 has for this incarnation;) She’s a lovely addition to your collection <3

Hi Aunt Bonnie. What a pretty doll. I am sorry I haven’t been writing you lately. I have been really busy with school and swimming. I made the A, B honor roll. I made it to Conference. That is the frist stop in swimming. If you make the top 20 in Conferenc you then go to District and so on. I didn’t make the top 20. I was sick that day and didn’t do to well but, I do miss you and think about you often. I wanted to wish you and everybody a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!,

Thats quite alright Elizabeth. I haven’t been doing a very good job of writing in my blog on a regular basis lately. We had a nice Thanksgiving week. It’s always a bit sad for me since your Uncle Skip passed away a few days before Thanksgiving but Levi and Jenni came for the week. We went to Colonial Williamsburg and a few other places. I will try to share some pictures of that this week. Sounds like you are doing great with your swimming! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!
